I don’t really watch TV, other than the news and 60 Minutes or other current affairs shows. Most of my viewing of TV shows are from Netflix, Hulu, box-set DVDs as well as docos and movies, often on 17″ laptop with Bose headphones in bed. So I read voluminously at home or on the road.
I have a Kindle but prefer the iPad screen for night and on-the-go reading and have racked up a pretty hefty book download habit through Amazon and the Apple service.
I’ve subscribed for many years to Wired, Rolling Stone (US), Vanity Fair, Tiki, Conde Nast Traveler, Companion Parrot Quarterly and read other magazines on pets, music, technology and marketing in the course of business. But with the acquisition of a Kindle DX and a new iPad, I’m not only reading all my books electronically, but also reading tons of mags online. Here are my faves.
